Sometimes, in an emergency moment, we can find any shelters for a night rest. The trees are too big or too scarce for our hammock. So, why don’t we make our own hammock stand? It’s quite easy. We just need about 6ft poles, any straight tree branches with wrist-size diameter will do, and some ropes. Part the poles into two parts of 3 poles each. Make two tripods out of them, with ropes as the fasteners. Once tripod making is done, find another pole; just a pole with about the length of your hammock. This pole is for stabilizer and center weight for the hammock. Tie each ends onto each of tripod tops. Tie also the hammock ends at each ends of the pole. Finally, erect the tripods. Set the legs for sturdier positions. Our makeshift tripod hammock stand and hammock are finally ready.
